A number of commercial mortgage-backed securities originators and b-piece buyers are looking at completing initial public offerings. Originators Ares Management and CCRE recently announced their intentions to go public, following Ladder Capital’s successful IPO earlier this year. There are also rumors that a number of b-piece buyers and originators could follow suit, market players told REFI.
