David Schechtman, an executive managing director at Eastern Consolidated, is seeing a significant rise in middle-market transactions in New York. “We are seeing deals in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx and activity is transcending property type,” Schechtman said. “We’re seeing global and local interest in getting deals done right away. There is fervor and competition on deals and there is a sense there is a good positive storm of ample debt and equity available with willing investors.”
